Aspect Ratio
- An image’s aspect ratio is the ratio of its width to its height.
- For example, if an image were 1500 pixels wide and 300 pixels high, its aspect ratio would be 5:1.
- Converting 1500⁄300 into its simplest form yields 5⁄1.
- To form the ratio, we place its numerator on the left hand side of a colon, and the denominator on the right.
